The most mindful treatment of produce! Fantastic- thank you
Really nice restaurant that caters for all tastes. The atmosphere was nice and cosy, although it could get noisy if it gets really busy.Food was excellent. Was initially worried about the price, but the quality and quantity certainly more than justifies the price.
One of the best restaurants that I've ever eaten at. At first glance you might think to yourself that it's a bit expensive if you only look at the prices. But if you compare the prices of their steaks for instance with Spur, then it's almost similar, but you get very proper veggies along with your choice of chips, mash or baked potato, where as by spur you can only get one side of choice. The service at Margaritas is exceptional, as you come in, the owner greets you and take you to a table (we had a booking for between 12:30 and 13h), and once the waiter comes, he/she introduce themselves in a friendly and proper manner. During the course of time the owner will also walk between the tables and check that everything is still well, as the waiters will also come check on their tables as neededThe food was also very exceptional. My dad had a 500g T-bone, and me and my mom each had a 300g speciality fillet (can't remember the name, but it's 3 pieces of fillet on a hot plate, which comes with a sauce of your choice). It's really quality. Those fillets was so soft, that the steak knife cuts through it with one slice movement as if it's a piece of butter, without tearing the meat. So the prices might be close to Spur, but quality is so much better really. Here you get more than you pay for. They have cheaper meals as well like salads or schnitzel, whereby you can get a away with between R100-R150 per person, including drinksWe might not have gone if I didn't have a voucher, which I've won from Radio Rosestad, as we barely ever go to eat out. But I will definitely recommend this restaurant for proper meal if you want to go eat out
If you need to take your partner or family even friends out for a romantic/relaxed dinner and want to enjoy excellent food topped with good service, then Margaritas is the place to go to.
Proper furniture, proper tableware stemware & linen. Well curated menu & winelist and a very sharp waiter.Only thing I can mark down it that there was no handsoap in the bathrooms and the napkins was a bit tacky. You made my birthday an event to remember!See you soon again
From the outside we thought the restaurant was closed, but then saw the hand sensor and were surprised by the little gem upstairs. Guest houses in the area should definitely do more to collaborate with you to promote the restaurant. Food was excellent. A healthy and tasty meal. We all had different meals, salmon, kingklip, ribs and steak. All prepared to perfection! Thank you ( Restaurant owners ourselves).
Superb meal, very good service and a welcoming host. The menu certainly has many option to suit different palates. The vast sauce menu was a wonderful surprise. Will definitely return. Teeny request: cloth napkins instead of paper serviettes to complement the way above average dining experience. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.
Probably the best meal I've ever eaten! I had the Mediterranean Rump Steak and would choose it over again, only if it wasn't for the rest of Margaritas enticing menu! Their food was awesome, their service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was electric. Wish I could've brought back to Cape Town with me
